This is a beautiful little sugar spoon that I found at an art fair in Nashville, TN . It only cost ten dollars but I am a firm believer that art does not have to be expensive to be beautiful ! It made me smile and I was happy to discover the artist and many others at this fair.
They do not show these spoons on their website so the spoons and small forks may be something they do for art shows . http://psjuneau.com/

David Lesser crafts 3-D metal sculptures from steel. He makes
whimsical desk sculptures and garden sculptures. Here are a couple of his Christmas sculptures. They are all able to stand and are beautifully done.
I am particularly fond of the Jester he has on his website. Yes ...I did give that one as a very special gift. There are also ornaments on the website. All ...a lot of fun.

Finally................got a photo uploaded !!
We came across this clay artist in Traverse City at the Bier Gallery. The detail is incredible and he makes the most whimsical hanging dragons.
He does a wonderful Santa ornament that I'll put in my next post.

Unique Holiday Gifts

Looking for unique handmade holiday gifts is always a challenge. It's hard when you are at an art show in the middle of summer to think about holiday gift giving but that's where I find many gifts. Others............I find online throughout the year.
I'll be posting some of my finds.........and as I figure out how to post photos......that will be next!
